Welcome to Banyule Toy Library

As it is now December the toy library will be shortly shutting for the Summer Break. You can book toys to hire over the summer by logging into the catalogue. These toys can be picked up on Saturday 17th December 9:30 – 11:00 am.

We will be running normal sessions on Tuesday 6th, Saturday 10th and Tuesday 13th December. We will be closed on Monday 12th as the school opposite is holding its Christmas Carols evening on that Monday. All toys currently out on loan need to be returned by the 13th of December.

We are a non-profit, parent run organisation which has been providing a toy borrowing service to families in and around the Banyule area since 1985. We are located in Rosanna, in the north-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, close to suburbs such as Macleod, Heidelberg, Ivanhoe, Eaglemont, Watsonia, Yallambie, Greensborough, Montmorency, Bundoora and Preston.

Families can borrow from a wide range of toys, games, puzzles and dress ups, aimed at stimulating a love of play and developing imagination, coordination, motor skills and social skills.

All interested families can become members of the toy library by paying a small yearly fee of $60 and volunteering a few times per year to help run the toy library. Parent, grandparents and other carers are all welcome! See our membership page for more details.
